We’ve just heard that roads in and around Newport are a total disaster due to the snow.
Lois Prior called us on 898 777 to let us know that cars are abandoned on the dual carriageway and there are cars stuck at Coppins Bridge roundabout and the surrounding areas, apparently since rush hour.
The snow is still falling in Newport and Lois estimated that there were around two inches of snow on the ground.
