Further details are slowly emerging about the two bodies found at the flat in Shanklin.

Children Found At Shanklin Flat Where Couple DiedTragically, two young children, who are believed to be the couple’s sons, were inside the flat when police arrived yesterday (Monday). They were unharmed. Both children are now staying at a family friend’s address where they are safe and well.

The death of the man is not being treated as suspicious.

Woman’s death “believed to be suspicious”
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are believed to be suspicious. The flat remains sealed off to allow for ongoing forensic examinations by specialist scenes of crime officers. Whilst retaining an open mind, detectives are not looking for anyone else suspected of being directly responsible for the deaths.

Police would like to thank local residents who have provided information to officers during our enquiries to date. Detectives remain keen to speak with anyone who believes they may have information about the circumstances surrounding these deaths.

    I can understand how things can be awful in life,but to go to the extent of murder and suicide,I cannot understand,especially where the couple have children too.Nothing is so bad in life as to warrant such awful and horrific actions.
