If you’re a fan of libraries, this event taking place on 5th February should be of interest.
Sandown library will be holding a ‘Celebration of Libraries’ event from 11am.
Local authors including M J Trow, Mary Ann Coleman, Diana Kimpton, Wendy K Harris, Felicity Fair Thompson and Gay Baldwin will all be taking part and providing readings.
In the afternoon (from 2.30pm) children are being asked to bring their favourite story into the library (or find it on the shelves) and it will be read aloud and shared with others.
