Prizes Awarded For Crime And Intrigue Short Story Writing Competition

Details of all the competition winners. Well done to you all.

Congratulations to all those who took part in the Crime And Intrigue Short Story Writing Competition.

Winner being presented awardAn award ceremony took place on Monday last week at Newport Minster with many Island dignitaries present.

Isle of Wight Police had set up a mock crime scene and Island band LEGO entertained the audience.

Proceeds of the 2011 competition go to the Island based charities, The Isle of Wight Homeless and Love Russia Charity

The winners were presented with their certificates and prizes by crime-writers, Pauline Rowson and Bob and Carol Bridgestock.

Well done to you all – some of the winning stories will be published on VentnorBlog over the next week.
