This year’s Isle of Arts Festival will be taking place over the weekend of 20th-22nd April in Ventnor.

On The Wight (what is OnTheWight?) is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring Sandi’s one-woman show on Saturday 21st April.

We understand that Sandi will be hosting an evening of sparkling conversation, clever party games and plenty of interaction with the audience!

Prolific career
Sandi is a prolific performer, broadcaster and writer. She started her career in a variety of Footlights show while studying archaeology and anthropology at Cambridge. She went on to be a founder member of the Comedy Store Players and a regular performer on TV’s Whose Line is it Anyway.

Her many TV credits include QI, Have I Got News For You, Time Team, and Island Race with John McCarthy. She is a familiar voice on the radio as the presenter of Radio 4’s Excess Baggage and The News Quiz.

She has also contributed to Loose Ends and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. On stage she has performed for a season at the Nottingham Playhouse and with the New Shakespeare Company at Regent’s Park.
