The council are advising that an exercise is being staged in Cowes tonight to test the response of the IW Fire & Rescue, Ambulance and Police services to a major incident.
They say there may be some noise from sirens and generators at the BAE Systems site between 5.45pm and 9.30pm as a result of the exercise.
