Appeal to find missing Newport woman last seen in Weymouth (updated)

Police are appealing for help to trace a 35-year-old woman missing from the Isle of Wight.

Update 1:34 PM: We are pleased to say that missing person Ruth Taylor has been located safe and well in the Newcastle area.

Ruth Gwenillian Taylor from Hannah House, Hunnyhill in Newport was last seen at The Rex Hotel in Weymouth on January 6 after booking to stay at the hotel for the weekend.

Ruth Gwenillian TaylorShe is described as:
> White
> Large build
> Black and blonde shoulder length hair
> Earrings in both ears and small tattoo on her shoulder
> She was wearing casual clothing of jogging bottoms and a top.

Ruth has friends in the Weymouth, Bristol and Yeovil area, as well as on the Isle of Wight.
She also has links in the Tyne and Wear area and visited there prior to the trip to Weymouth, specifically Cullercoats and Newcastle Upon Tyne.
