Spate of thefts from cars in Ventnor

Three vehicles were broken into overnight sometime between 6.00pm on Wednesday, March 5 and 8.00am Thursday, March 6, in Gills Cliff Road, Lowtherville Road and St Boniface Road in Ventnor.

PC Neil Payne is investigating and said: “We’d like to remind people not to leave anything of value in their vehicles. Also, do remember to lock your vehicle, even if you are away from it for only a short time. All these vehicles were left insecure.

“We’d also advise motorists not to lock valuables in the boot of cars.

“If you have any information on these thefts or saw anything suspicious please contact police.”
