Kay Ounsworth handing in cheque to RIR:

Kay’s swimwear challenged raised nearly £300 for vital service

Congratulations to Kay Ounsworth, who last week set herself the challenge of going about her business for three days dressed in a swimming costume in order to raise much needed cash for Ryde Inshore Rescue.

Kay completed her challenge and got in touch with OnTheWight to let us know how she got on. She said,

“I finshed the ‘wear my swimwear for three days while going about my daily business’ fundraiser for Ryde Inshore Rescue on Friday 25th July at noon. On Sunday I returned the donation collection boxes. I raised a total of £275.76. Of that £135 was raised online and £140.76 was through monetary donations.

“I would like to say a huge thank you to you at OnTheWight, especially to Sally and a heartfelt thank you to all who helped me, supported me and generously donated to this life saving cause.”

Kay is planning to leave her Just Giving page open for a few more days in case anyone would still like to contribute.
