The Chiverin Sanctuary offers a fusion of Bristol and Isle of Wight musical talent

As keen fans of the work of Isle of Wight bands such as CHAMPS and Plastic Mermaids, you won’t be surprised to hear OnTheWight raving about this event taking place next week in Ventnor.

Former Islander, now based in Bristol, Aled Chivers (you might remember him from the CHAMPS tour video), is bringing some Bristol talent to the Island for a VentnorFringe event on Thursday (14th August).

Little Dusty
Headlining the ‘Chiverin Sanctuary’ event at St Catherine’s Church will be lo-fi, female-fronted, acoustic folk-pop band, Little Dusty.

We’ve checked them out on Soundcloud and love the sound.

RHAIN
Also joining the Chiverin Sanctuary will be the RHAIN, who many of you will know, regularly collaborates with Plastic Mermaids, providing beautiful soprano vocals, as well as having produced her own original work for several years. RHAIN’s captivating voice will have you floating high.

Tula
And last, but by no means least, we’re looking forward to seeing Tula perform in the church again. She’ll be supported by one half of another Isle of Wight band that OnTheWight are rather fond of.

All in all, it should be a pretty amazing night.

You can buy tickets through the Ventnor Exchange Website or from the Box Office next week.

What is Chiverin you might ask?
Aled tells OnTheWight that Chiverin is a music community that has worked with the likes of George Ezra, CHAMPS and Plastic Mermaids and is now supporting some of the most exciting up and coming acts at the moment.
