Man left unconscious after assault in Shanklin

A 20-year-old man was walking along Green Lane when three men approached him from behind and assaulted him on the ground.

The attack happened sometime between 11.30pm on Wednesday, November 19 and 12.30am on the morning of Thursday, November 20, 2014.

The victim was unconscious temporarily after the assault before he was taken to hospital for medical attention.

Suspects were described as:

Three white men aged in their late teens, of medium build, under 6 ft tall, wearing tracksuits bottoms and hoodies with the hoods up.
