Britain’s Got Talent auditions head to the Isle of Wight

The hugely popular TV talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, each year scours the country for performers to take part in the auditions and then if they are successful the televised competition.

Devised by devised by X Factor creator, Simon Cowell, Britain’s Got Talent (or BGT as it often gets referred to as) is auditioning for its ninth series and will be coming to the Isle of Wight.

The tour will visit Trinity Theatre, Cowes next week on Wednesday 3rd December between 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

The details
The show is open to any performer of any age, from any background, with any talent – all they need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress.

Anything goes, from comedians to contortionists, dancers to drag acts and acrobats to animals, the more unusual, the better.

The auditions will be in front of members of the BGT production team and will be filmed (not for broadcast, just for the show producers to view).

Please note that anyone under 18 will need to have a parent present to sign a release form to say that they are happy for BGT to film them.
