Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident that took place this morning in Newport.
According to a County Press report, a traffic warden was attacked in the town centre this morning suffering head injuries as a result.
The incident took place mid-morning at the junction of Upper St James’ Street and Orchard Street.
The traffic warden was being treated at St Mary’s Hospital for his injuries.
