Parents’ delight as match found in bone marrow appeal for Island toddler

Back in November 2014, OnTheWight reported the tragic story of the young Isle of Wight toddler, Perri, in need of a bone marrow transplant.

It’s fantastic to hear today that a match has been found for young Perri.

The Facebook page running the campaign has announced:

A MATCH FOR PERRI HAS BEEN FOUND!!! We are so happy to post this message that Perri and her family have been informed that a match has been found for Perri in Germany.

There is still a very long hard road for Perri and she is still very critical but this good news is just what her family needed to start 2015.

Thank you to all the people who have registered your support has been wonderful. We will keep you updated on Perri’s progress and how things are going as she continues to battle this terrible disease

Our best wishes to Perri and her family.
