Isle of Wight Logs in nets: Get warm with less effort

Well, it’s finally here. The cold weather has hit the Isle of Wight. Unsurprisingly thoughts turn to the seductive power of beautiful wood-burning stoves and where’s best to source logs from.

For many years we’ve trusted Wightfield Woodyard to supply the logs to keep us warm.

Well things have changed a little and they’ve decided to now match their name to where they’ve been based for the last four years – Chessell Woodyard.

Now available in nets too
A new feature this Winter is to be able to receive you wood delivery in convenient nets, to make them easy to carry to your fire – much like you will have seen at petrol stations.

Useful if you don’t have a drive to drop the logs in, or if there’s a long distance between your usual drop off point, because included in the price is the carrying and storage of them in to your wood shed.
