Thanks to Janneke for this latest from the Isle of Arts Festival. Ed

The Isle of Arts Festival will feature three screenings of classic films at the beginning of May at the Ventnor Arts Club.

1915 saw the birth of Orson Welles, Ingrid Bergman, Frank Sinatra, Eli Wallach and Anthony Quinn, to name but a few people who have gone on to star in great films that are still watched today.

This year we are unashamedly going back in time with a selection of great movies made by these artists, and YOU can decide which ones will be shown at the Festival.

It’s quick, free and fun, and the three films that prove to be most popular by the closing date (31st March) will be shown during Isle of Arts, in the comfortable surroundings of Ventnor Arts Club.
