After a goal drought of months, East Cowes Vics finally found their scoring form on Saturday, but it was still not enough.

They came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 at half time against fellow Sydenhams Wessex League strugglers Andover New Street, but in the end lost 4-3.

On a heavy pitch, Ji Nash scored all three for the hosts.

Premier Division
In the Premier Division, Newport recorded their fourth straight 1-0 win, this time at Blackfield and Langley. Jordan Browne got the goal for the Islanders, midway through the second half.

Cowes Sports’ IW Gold Cup quarter-final clash with W and B was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at Westwood Park.

Under 12s
Newport (IW) Youth under 12s have made it through to there third cup final in four years, after a 3-1 defeat of Brading, with goals from Harry Cheek two and a Ben Snow strike. Newport’s man of the match was Jacob Jenner.
