The Isle of Wight council have just announced there has been a landslip in the Landslip near Bonchurch.
Public footpath V65C – which runs through The Devils Chimney near Bonchurch/Ventnor – has been closed for safety reasons due to damage to steps caused by a small landslip.
The go on to say the “path will be closed for the forseeable future while arrangements are made to repair the steps”.
