Thanks to Robin for details of this free event. Ed

The performance will start at 7.30pm and the 50-strong choir will that evening be singing in aid of the Isle of Wight Heart Care Club. The Club, which is affiliated to the British Heart Foundation, provides support for people with heart conditions, offering a structured exercise programme tailored to individual needs and the opportunity for individuals to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The choir’s new programme this year includes a varied range of music from composers such as Strauss, Schubert, Offenbach, Gershwin, Novello and Lloyd Webber, songs made popular by Abba, the Moody Blues and Trini Lopez together with a traditional Neapolitan tune, a Mexican mambo and the Rugby World Cup Theme!

Admission is free but there will be a raffle and a retiring collection in support of the Heart Care Club.
