This in from Tristan. Ed

Proud mother of three Lyn Blackledge, despite being mid-launch of her own international training and mentoring business with her two sons, has stepped-up to take on the role of Chairperson for Ryde Business Association.

With a number of marketing awards to her name, it could be argued that there is no one better suited than Lyn, to the role of representing Ryde to the wider demographic.

‘Beloved Island’
When speaking to about her ‘beloved Island’, it is clear that Lyn is very passionate about the area, and all it has to offer. You can even see a special twinkle in her eye as she discusses the many endearing features and businesses the Island has to offer.

Valiant business services and charity work
No stranger to press attention, Lyn has been featured numerous times across a plethora of media outlets, not only for her valiant business services, but also for her selflessness in raising funds for local charities.

So much so, that it has even got to the point of some people knowing her and her partner in crime, Julie Jordan, simply as the ‘Giggly Grannies’. A name she wears proudly.

The Connection Queen
After four years of running a local business networking group, Wightbuzz, also dubbed by others as the ‘Connection Queen’ – Lyn is in the process of launching an international website with ATN, to allow her to reach and connect even more businesses across the globe.

Providing social media training, business advice and a unique round the clock mentoring service.

Exciting news on the way
Talking to Lyn about her new role in RBA, as the chairperson, she did reveal that there were some exciting bits of news on the way including a brand new Website, a local newsletter and a few other surprises.

We have no doubt Lyn will do a great job in representing not only Ryde businesses, but also the local area and all it has to offer.
