To celebrate the resumption of the East Wight train service, Island Line have introduced a buffet car service for early commuters from the morning of 1st April.

Island Line said they were grateful for their passengers putting up with nearly three months service disruption while last year’s storm damage was repaired – notably the huge landslip on the coastal side of the line near Shanklin.

Range of options

The range includes vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as some British Rail classics such as cheese and tomato or ham.
