Islanders have been having fun this morning with their contributions to the tradition of April Fool’s Day.

OnTheWight had a long history of publishing April Fool’s articles over the years – one year we even went as far as putting out nine!

Some smelt a rat with our Island Line say ‘Thank you’ with free Buffet car this morning. That gem was penned by Philip Marsh of rail.co.uk.

Across social media, a range of pranks have been posted by individuals and news sources, hoping to catch out the sleepy reader.
