Brief
Earl Mountbatten Hospice require the assistance of photographers to provide images of the walk that interpret the atmosphere, represent the key groups who take part and showcase the stunning views.

These images need to be given to the Hospice for their use as they see fit and will be used in future for such things as – adverts in print, social media promo, walker packs for following years, presentations on the event, Website and more.

Ideally the following needs to be captured:

  • School children and families taking part
  • Landscape views and picturesque parts of the flat, main and schools walk
  • Those overcoming challenges we may award afterwards
  • Volunteers and marshals on the day
  • Starts and finishes
  • Fancy dress and teams walking together
  • In memory t-shirts and groups
  • Walkers – keen or professional walkers with the right kit
  • Dogs and owners of all shapes and sizes
  • Those that show scale of event and numbers taking part
  • Some landscape images that will capture the beauty of the route and be used off Island to promote reasons to walk
  • All should have their walker number on ideally (even dogs)
  • Bright light and fun pictures always help for Facebook and adverts. Weather permitting we understand.
  • We will make you an ‘official Walk the Wight photographer’ badge in case of question

You will need to heed all safety measures and remember you are acting on behalf of the Hospice. Note that all who have officially registered have signed an agreement for any images of them to be used by EMH.
