Just a warning folks!

We took our kids to Jungle Jim’s in Shanklin on Sunday 26th April and Out of order - shanklin car park machineparked in the car park next to it.

The tariff said £2 for up to two hours. The machine was out of order and the instructions were to use the nearest machine.

So I crossed the road only a matter of yards away, paid £2 and went into the play area.

Different charging on road and in car park
After about an hour I mentioned to my partner that I’d forgotten to check the expiry time, so went back out to car to have a look.

Of course, the machine across the road wants you to pay £2.20 for up to two hours.

So not only did we cut the girls play short, I also paid more than I should for the ticket and £6 for the entry to Jungle Jim’s only to have one hour there.

The point being, that I had parked in the car park that clearly stated £2 for up to two hours.

So why should I pay more?
