It’s that time of the week when we dive into the Flickr Group Pool (which now has over 30,000 images) to choose our Flickr Group Picture of the Week.
There are some really fabulous shots in the Flickr Pool which makes it very hard each week to choose our favourite.
We love this shot of the Mermaid in Cowes taken by Christian Beasley. The composition and colours are fantastic.

“The little known Cowes Mermaid on the rocks surrounding the Royal Yacht Squadron’s yacht haven. Having seen the Copenhagen mermaid I’d give my vote to her Cowes cousin any day! Her rather voluptuous curves come from the Olympic swimmer Sharon Davies, on whom she was modelled.”
