Scrapbot convention

Appeal for your old junk as Scrapbot Convention approaches

There’s just a few days until the first ever ‘open to all’ Scrapbot Convention Day on the Isle of Wight.

Organised by Huxley Hunt, this Newport event hopes to attract Islanders (and visitors) to take part in this popular robot battling competition.

The event takes place on Saturday 30th May and is free to enter (full details here)

Donate your old junk
In the meantime, organisers as desperate for your junk!

Old radio controlled cars, any kids’ toys, CD players, electric toothbrushes, old fans, anything that vibrates, cassette tape players, VCRs, old or broken video cams, hard drives, anything with batteries or that moves.

If you are about to take any of the above to the dump or charity shop, instead please donate to the Scrapbot-eers. They will collect from you.

Simply message Huxley through his Facebook page or leave a message here and we’ll pass on.

This promotional video should get you hyped for the event.
