Missing man Michael Davies

Appeal to find missing man on the Isle of Wight

This in from the police, in their own words. Ed

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 71 year-old man from Blaina in Wales who was last seen at the Hotel Maria in Sandown last night at 21:30pm (Tuesday, May 26).

Michael Davies was visiting the Isle of Wight as part of a coach holiday with his wife. We are concerned that he may not have access to the blood pressure medication that he needs.

Having reviewed CCTV it appears that Michael was in the Avenue Road area of Sandown just before 01:00am this morning.

Michael is described as:

  • White.
  • He has cropped white hair.
  • He was wearing a blue t-shirt, a blue ‘Reebok’ jumper, jeans, and a baseball cap.
