If you spotted fire crews heading into Ozze’s Fish and Chip Shop in Newport this morning, the thought of the popular take-away being out of action due to fire damage might’ve put you in a panic.
The Isle of Wight fire service were notified of smoke by a neighbour at 7.25am.
Fortunately, it turns out it was just a small bin fire in the shop, which the fire crew were able to extinguish swiftly.
