A property in Barton Road, Newport, Isle of Wight has been cordoned off after police confirm the body of a woman was found.
Officers were called to the property last night (Saturday) and a 53 year old man has been arrested and “is helping officers with their enquiries”.
An investigation has been launched police remain at the scene.
