The 53 year old man who was arrested at the weekend in connection with a woman’s body found at an address in Newport has been released on bail until November.
The man was arrested and questioned after police discovered a woman’s body at Powell House, Barton Road, Newport.
Officers were called to the property at 12.40 on Sunday morning and the man has been arrested and “is helping officers with their enquiries”.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who was found dead at the weekend.
