Isle of Wight tomato specialists, The Tomato Stall, are delighted to have been awarded Guild of Fine Foods Great Taste 2015 Awards for three of their products: Pure Isle of Wight Tomato Juice; Oak Roasted Isle of Wight Tomatoes; and their brand new Virgin Mary spiced tomato juice. The awards received 10,000 individual product entries this year.

The Great Taste Awards are the world’s most coveted blind-tasted food awards. Judged by over 400 of the most demanding palates belonging to food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, producers and a host of food writers and journalists, Great Taste is widely acknowledged as the most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and speciality food producers.

Director Paul Thomas says:

“Our range celebrates the fantastic tasting tomatoes we are able to grow here on the Isle of Wight, ensuring tomato lovers can enjoy them in a number of different ways. These products are made by hand right here on our nursery, enabling us to pick fruit when it’s perfectly ripe and capture it at its peak of flavour just metres from where it is grown.

“We are passionate about what we do and are very proud to be recognized by the Guild of Fine Food in this way.”
