Ryde Harriers take on track and multi-terrain

The latest race was the 800m with twenty-one club members and guests split into two races.

In the first race it was all about the ladies with IWAC youngster Millie Bacon out-kicking Rosie Eldridge in the final 150m after Eldridge had led for the majority of the race. They finished in 2:50 and 2:53 respectively with Julie King third in 2:57.

In the second race Tom Blackwell crossed first in 2:23 with Sam Cleare close behind in 2:27 just ahead of Ellie Bacon from IWAC, who was just shy of a new pb with her time of 2:28.

Seaview Saunter
The most recent Tuesday night had the usual summer double-venue offerings of multi-terrain runs.

In Ryde, the Seaview Saunter was won by Graham Skelly, who was only twenty two seconds inside of his nominated time. Jake Brougham was first home from the 6.4 mile course in 43:32.

American Adventure
At the same time in Sandown ten runners took on the American Adventure course with Rowland Sillito the nearest to his nominated time and guest, Joe Norman, the first home in 1:08:52.
