paul armfield found box set

Paul Armfield’s latest album a wonderful box set of treasures

Earlier this month, Isle of Wight singer, songwriter and musician, Paul Armfield, released his latest album.

If you’ve been to Dimbola Museum and Galleries in the last couple of weeks, you’ll know that the album launch coincided with the opening of Paul’s photography exhibition, Found.

Songs inspired by ‘found’ photographs
The album, of the same name as the exhibition, is made up of songs inspired by a breathtaking collection of ‘found’ photographs.

Paul’s friend, Elinor, has collected the photographs over several years from flea-markets in Berlin.

Akin to Factory Records
Harking back to the kind of presentation you’d expect from the iconic Factory Records (former independent record label big in the ’80s), the CD arrives not in a decorated sleeve, but inside a matt black box.

Opening the package reveals not only the CD, but also 16 wonderful A5 postcards of the ‘found’ photographs (all with corresponding lyrics on the back).

Limited edition
If you’re a fan of Paul’s work, then this is clearly a must-have item, but it also makes a wonderful present for music-loving friends and family.

The ‘Found’ box set has a limited edition run of just 1,000, so if it takes your fancy make sure you pop over to Paul’s Website to order your copy now before they sell out.

Paul Armfield’s exhibition runs at Dimbola Museum and Galleries from 10th October 2015 – 3rd January 2016.
