Following an exciting and successful collaboration with Isle of Wight-based charity UKSA in 2015, Red Funnel is inviting local charities to apply to become its 2016 charity of the year.

The ferry firm, who raised £35,000 for UKSA in 2015 through online match-funding among other fundraising activities, is urging local charities whose aims are to support local community groups to apply online for the chance of teaming up in 2016.

Red Funnel: “We take our social responsibility very seriously”

“We are so proud to have raised such a fantastic amount for UKSA this year and enjoyed every minute of it, so we are really looking forward to doing the same for another worthwhile cause throughout 2016. Over the next year we will also continue to help fund local charities who share our social responsibility aims, particularly those supporting the Isle of Wight community.”
