Second final of the season for Newport (IW) Youth FC

Newport (IW) Youth are through to their second final of the season by beating Pickwick (Lions) Youth, in the semi final of the Hampshire cup 4-2 on penalties, after the game finished 0-0 after 70 minutes.

Pickwick’s first two penalties were well saved by keeper Fraser Law and Newport scored all four of their penalties through man of the match Ben Timbrell, Captain Aidan Sheerin, Ben Snow and the winning penalty was scored through Jaik Holton.

The final will take place on Sunday 15th May at Winklebury (Basingstoke) the home of the Hampshire FA.

Island cup final
They booked their place in the Island cup final the previous weekend.

That final will take place on Sunday 25th April at Vicarage Lane the home of Brading FC.
