Head to Ventnor Exchange for Record Store Day 2016

Saturday 16th April sees the return of Record Store Day (RSD) to the Isle of Wight.

Head to Ventnor Exchange from 9am to take part in the festivities which include; special RSD edition vinyl, a free record-cleaning pop-up (with Keith Monks the master record cleaner), a music quiz (hosted by funny man Scott Anderson) and a showcase of Isle of Wight music and DJs.

Some of those taking part on the day include 2016 Bestival Band Competition winner, Lauran Hibberd, Paul Armfield, Ever, Doug Alldred and the adorable Ebb Phillips (don’t miss him at 11am).

Spinning the vinyl will be KafTan, Headfunk and Kyle Abram.

Where and when
The doors open at 9am at The Exchange (Church St, Ventnor) and the musical fun continues all day and late into the evening.

Island bands at Pie & Vinyl
Alternatively, if you fancy getting off the Island several Isle of Wight acts, including Plastic Mermaids will be performing live at the wonderful Pie & Vinyl in Southsea from noon (more details on their Website).
