PCC election: Who can you vote for

One week tomorrow, on Thursday 5th May, Isle of Wight residents will be asked to head out to their local polling station to vote in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have seven candidates of various political flavours standing (see the list here). If you haven’t had your polling card yet or have other general queries, the IWC issued a useful guide to the PCC election earlier this month.

‘Who Can I Vote For’ Website
A new Website called ‘Who Can I Vote For’ has been set up by the excellent Democracy Club, the team behind YourNextMP.com Website which was invaluable to many in the run-up to the 2010 and 2015 general elections.

This new site invites you to enter your postcode to find out what elections are happening in your area and who the candidates are.

Give it a try
Why not pop over to the site and have a go.

It works across the country, so if you’re reading from another county, it’ll show your local candidates, as well as any other local elections.
