Isle of Wight Lambretta Day: Tickets now on sale

Isle of Wight Lambretta Day returns to the Isle of Wight on Sunday 29th May 2016, Bank Holiday Weekend.

The day starts with a meet at Newport’s Riverside Centre at 11am. The Scooter Ride-out leaves at 1pm and this year will ride in tribute to Scooterist, Gary Cordon, heading to Ryde’s Pavilion Bar on the seafront.

A memorial legshield banner is available at £5 with profits going to the Isle of Wight Hospice. Arrive at Riverside for 11am as there’ll be a ride up to the Isle Of Wight Festival site for a publicity photo for The Who’s up coming performance. Everyone who attends gets a free entry into a competition to win two tickets to the Festival.

Take part or simply admire
We will then present Trophies for; Best Lambretta, Best Turned Out visiting Club, Best Overall Scooter, and Best Vintage pre-60’s Scooter.

As well as BBQ and drinks, there’ll be live bands – The Zinedines and The Dead Perrys playing 4pm onwards in the Pavilion Bar with DJs outside until 6pm.

Vespa Riders are very welcome as usual.

Evening event
The Evening event, at the Balcony Bars at Ryde Pavilion, will be a live double-header with ten piece quality Northern Soul band, The Signatures.

They’ll be joined by Ska band Three Minute Heroes.

Tickets are priced at only £10 each with doors for the evening event open 8pm – 1.30am.

Buy your tickets online or in person at Bagel Wrap, Union Street, Ryde Scooters on The Strand or Ryde Superbowl.

If you’re on Newport, pop into Visual Impact on 21 Holyrood St where you can also buy tickets in person.
