Death of 6 year old being treated as murder say police

Detectives investigating the deaths of two people in East Cowes on Wednesday are now in a position to confirm the results of post mortem examinations carried out yesterday (Thursday June 2).

The post mortem examination of Darren Flux-Edmonds, 44, found death was by ligature suspension.

His death is not being treated as suspicious by detectives.

Murder investigation
The result of the post mortem examination of his six-year-old daughter Keziah Flux-Edmonds was undetermined and further tests will be carried out.

Detectives are treating her death as murder and are continuing with their investigations on behalf of the coroner.

Detective Inspector Simon Baker said:

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and our specialist officers are continuing to support family members.”
