Ryde businesses: Share your ideas on two of the town’s major events

The third Ryde Business Association (RBA) meeting since it was relaunched under a new committee takes place tonight (Wednesday) from 7pm at Ryde Library.

New Chairperson, Zoe Thompson, says,

“The main focus of this meeting will be for people to share their ideas on two main events that we are able to plan for this year…that being Isle of Wight Day on 24th September, and Christmas which will be launched in Ryde on Saturday 3rd December.”

The RBA meetings are an opportunity for everyone to come together and have their say on what you think will work well for the town. All types of Ryde businesses and organisations are welcome to come along and get involved.

Hear about valuable resources at library
Zoe has been very keen to hold the meetings in different venues across the town as a way of opening up businesses to each other. She explains why this month’s meeting is being held in the library,

She says,

“Library services have not had it easy over recent times so there will be an opportunity for library staff to let us know how this valuable resource is doing.”
