Robin shares details of this upcoming fundraising concert. Ed

On Saturday 13th August, the Phoenix Choir will be in concert at All Saints’ Church, Ryde in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

The choir will be dedicating songs to former members who all received excellent care from the Hospice during their illness.

Liz Hales, Margaret Holden, Richard Marshall and Godfrey Sothcott were staunch members over a number of years and participated in many concerts and performances.

The choir will, as usual, be performing a wide range of songs from their 2016 programme plus dedicatory numbers ‘I Got Rhythm’, ‘Mansions Of The Lord’, ‘Hine E Hine’ and ‘The Wonder Of You’.

Admission is free, but there will be a retiring collection, a raffle run by the hospice and interval refreshments. The concert commences at 7.30pm.

It is hoped that this event will be well-supported to reflect the magnificent work done by the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
