Dirty Blondes play the Winter Gardens as part of Ventnor Fringe

There are lots of events taking place around Ventnor that you don’t have to pay to enjoy as part of the Ventnor Fringe Festival

This afternoon (Thursday 4pm) at the Ventnor Winter Gardens, Dirty Blondes, a young, all-female indie rock band from Camden, London, will be performing their own work.

Punk royalty connection
Ventnor will be welcoming the band, which has a punk royalty connection – one of the band members is the daughter of Viv Albertine from emblematic post-punk band, The Slits.

Expect a sound inspired by Bastille, Jeff Buckley and Blondie. Real and proper girl power.

As the band’s drummer was unable to make it to the Fringe, the lovely Pip Brignall will be stepping in.

He’ll also be performing Twelfth Night on Friday (12th), Saturday (13th) and Sunday (14th) at 8pm at Holy Trinity Church, Ventnor with Scena Mundi.

The band will also be performing on Friday at 4pm at Parkside as part of the Free Fringe.
