Calling all artists: Be part of ‘postcard pop-up exhibition’ to celebrate Isle of Wight Day

Isle of Wight artists, Vanessa Langley (of Blue Fox Gallery in Ryde) and Lyndy Moles have launched a collaborative project to celebrate the very first Isle of Wight Day.

Their plan is to encourage as many artists (on and off the Isle of Wight) to contribute to this creative project that supports the wonderful Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

They explain,

To celebrate the inaugural IOW Day on September 24th, and also support the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, we’d like as many artists both on and off the Island to send us a postcard sized piece of their work (6”x4” / 15cmx10cm).

Please add a few words on the back about what the Island means to you, and don’t forget to also include artist name, title of work, website or contact details.

The artwork will be exhibited at Blue Fox Gallery in Ryde, from Isle of Wight Day, Saturday 24th September, for a week, and then donated to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on the Island for a fundraising exhibition and auction later in the year.

Submit your postcard
Please drop ‘postcards’ in or send to Vanessa Langley & Lyndy Moles, Blue Fox Gallery, 7 Cross Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight PO33 2AD

Deadline for submissions is Saturday 10th September 2016.
