After a successful debut event last October, The Hambrough will be hosting their second fine dining fundraising lunch at speech and language school, St Catherine’s in Ventnor on 18th May 2014.

Islanders are incredibly charitable, perhaps it because of the strong community spirit. A week doesn’t go by without several features about Islanders trying to raise awareness or money for a charity.

The petition calling on the Isle of Wight council to serve a Statutory Repairs Notice on the owners of the former Frank James Memorial Hospital in East Cowes has already gathered over 500 signatures online.

Isle of Wight artist, Sue Standish Murphy, has donated two paintings to the fundraising exhibition in aid of the MND Association later this month. She'll continue her campaign of fundraising throughout the summer.
