Ahhh, how lovely was that? Excellent evening, so pretty, lanterns jingling around Niton, drumming troupe at the front of the procession. Superb.
We didn’t have a lantern to hold, but tagged along with the procession, it was definitely better walking along, than watching from the sidelines, unless of course, you’ve been in the procession year after year and deserve a well earned break.

If you missed the Niton Lantern Parade, don’t forget the Ventnor one on the 17th. Even if you don’t make a lantern (but still have a chance to), come along and be part of the procession.
