Background
VentnorBlog was founded way back in September 2005 to celebrate all the great things about the Isle of Wight. We were stunned by the abundance of artistic and creative talent on the Island and felt moved to write about it. Much to our surprise, others were interested in it too, pushing us to the unimaginable readership in excess of 17,500 people weekly. Frighteningly, it’s still growing.

When we can, we’ve supported artists and musicians on the Wight, letting readers know when and where they’ve been exhibiting, carrying out the odd review when we can, just in case people couldn’t make it along.

Well, the time has now come for VentnorBlog to hold an exhibition of its own, the name that jumped out to us was – VentnorBlog presents …

We’ve asked four of our favourite artists from the Island — two painter and two photographers — to gather new work to be shown for the first time on the Wight.

We’ve been really lucky to get the use of a stunning location — the Bonchurch Manor Hotel — that Shuba and Mark have been kind enough to let us use.
