Whether you agree or disagree with the proposal, your views are welcome at tonight's meeting, where the town councils will hear from users of the floating bridge as well as local businesses - including Waitrose - who say they will be affected by the introduction of foot passenger fares.
OnTheWight asked the spokesperson for Island Roads two days ago whether this was outside the PFI contract, but they have failed to respond.
