Ventnor Parkour Boys Flying High

The diversity of talent in Ventnor never ceases to amaze me, and it appears that age is no barrier.

It seems that a group of young lads (well young compared to me), Sam Snudden, Lawrie Noctor, and Ben Summers have got a real spring in their steps. You might’ve seen some photos of them in the first issue of the Jam On Toast magazine last year. Unfortunately, one thing that printed matter can’t do, is really show you what these lads are capable of.

Well, thanks to YouTube, you can now watch them … so make yourself a cuppa and sit back and reel in their acrobatic agility.

The first one is a ‘best of 2006’ and the second is what they’ve been up to so far this year.

I find this kind of stuff really inspiring, infact it was watching Jump Britain, a documentary about free runners across the UK, that inspired me some years ago to battle against my incapacity and get rid of the walking sticks.

These Ventnor lads have a lot of talent and I hope that they will continue building up their repertoire. Give them a thumbs up next time you see them flying over a brick wall! [Thanks to Julian Winslow for the tip off]
