Thanks to Jo for sharing details of the upcoming events at Ryde Library. Ed

All your presents wrapped? Decorations up? Turkey ordered? Stuck for something to do with your excited children? We are very happy indeed to announce an exciting programme of festive events!

Write a letter to Santa
On Saturday 8th & 15th from 3.30pm bring your children to Ryde Library to write a letter to Santa!

We have very special writing paper and a very important Post Box for those special Christmas Wishes. Special Christmas biscuits and squash will be available for those busy writers.

Help create a winter scene
Also on Saturday 8th from 10am we have a lovely winter scene that desperately needs Christmas trees!

We have many old Christmas cards to recycle so come along and get busy cutting and sticking!

Make a 2013 calendar
On Saturday 15th from 10am we have nother very special craft event. Come and make a calendar for next year.

You could make it as a present or for yourself.

Why not have a go at our Christmas Quiz?
Entry forms are available in the library. We have 12 seasonally difficult Christmas themed questions and the quiz is open to young and old with great prizes for adults and children

Also for the first time this year we have a very special Christmas Memory tree.

Come along to write a message to someone who may not perhaps be able to be with you this Christmas.

All the above events are free and are organised by the staff of Ryde Library.

Hope to see you soon.
