Organ restored in time for centenary concert

St Michael's Church:

Thanks to George for details of this upcoming event. Ed

A hundred years ago, the organ at St. Michael & All Angels Church, having been bought originally from a Torquay church in 1880 for £100, was drastically improved and placed on an organ loft in 1913 (which cost £700), has, a century later been lovingly restored by Mr. Robert Stacey, a local organ builder.

To celebrate this, Robert and Soloist Becci Wilcox are giving a varied concert of light organ music and popular solos in the church on Saturday, 13th April at 7pm.

Admission £3.50.
